Calling Your Contacts
Good news: your agents and organizers have the ability to call their contacts right from Hustle!
Calling your Hustle contacts is easy thanks to Hustle's mobile app: just tap on the contact's name, then press the phone under "Call Contact." The call will be placed to the contact through the mobile app using the same Hustle phone number they have been texting with!
As an added benefit, experiment with Hustling your contacts before calling them. Ask them when is a good time to call, or share when you'll be calling later that day. Your text team may be happy to find that their the call pickup rates are higher than a cold call alone since the phone number is more familiar having been preceded by a text. For the contact, that phone number feels more familiar and the call is expected. When you are fundraising or making another important ask, the sooner you can establish rapport, the better.
Make sure to use Tags or add extra free-form Notes & Follow Up comments in the lead profile before moving on. This information will be available for future agents and phone calls as well.

Receiving Calls from your Contacts while using Hustle
Agents can receive inbound calls from contacts within the Hustle mobile app, too!
Contacts can successfully call your agents via the Hustle mobile app. When a contact calls the phone number that they received a Hustle text from, as long as the agent is signed into the mobile app, the agent will receive the call! This will be an automatic inbound call from Hustle via California-area-code phone number, with a recorded message instructing agents the name of the contact calling. Agents have the option to Press 1 to receive the call, Press 2 to decline, or Press 3 to opt the contact out.
If your admin would rather designate one single phone number to receive all incoming calls from all agents, they can set the inbound routing number at the Group or Organization level in the Settings tab.
NOTE: Regardless of whether inbound or outbound, the agent's actual personal phone number is masked and private. All calls take place via their Hustle number through the mobile app, not their their personal phone.
