Groups and contacts can’t be "deleted" in Hustle. This is to ensure admins can review the data for all their groups in Hustle. However, Account and Org admins can hide or archive groups.
Once a group is archived:
- Only Account and Org admins can see the group.
- Contacts can’t be messaged from the group.
- Admins have 24 hours to reverse the deactivation.

How do I hide a group?
When a group is hidden it'll no longer appear in the menu over Groups on the left side of the admin panel.
Note: Hiding a group will hide it for every group, org, and account admin.
To hide your group:
- Click Groups in the admin panel.
- Next to the name of the group you want to hide, uncheck the box under Show in menu.
Hidden groups can be accessed by clicking Groups on the left side of the admin panel.
How do I archive a group?
To archive a group:
- From the Admin Panel click Groups.
- Under Select, check the groups you want to archive
- Click Archive Selected Groups > Archive
- Click Status > Archived to see all of the groups that have been archived in the organization.
Admins have 24 hours to reactivate archived groups before they are permanently archived.
To review your archived groups:
- From the Admin Panel click Groups.
- Near the top of the page, click Status > Archived.
- Click the name of the group you want to review.
How do I activate archived groups?
Admins can only reactivate groups 24 hours after they've been archived. 24 hours after an admin archives a group, the group will get permanently deleted and can't be recovered.
To activate an archived group:
- From the Admin Panel click Groups.
- Near the top of the page, click Status > Archived.
- Click Reactivate next to the name of the group you want to activate.
- Click Status > Active to review the reactivated and active groups in the organization.
