- Clips will be played in the order they were uploaded. The timeline can’t be changed unless clips are removed and reloaded in the preferred order.
- The GIF preview will be taken from the first clip in the timeline. To change what clip the GIF is taken from, remove and re-upload the clips in the timeline so the first clip is the one you want the GIF taken from. Note: Admins also have the option to use a different GIF/image in the admin panel for scripts that include stories.
- Click Save & Exit when your videos are uploaded.
- Click your profile picture in the top right > Return to Hustle.
- Open the organization and group you want to launch the Story Campaign in and click Add Goal on the Goals tab.

- Edit the scripts that you want to include a Hustle Story in and click Media.
- Click Add Story > A list of Hustle Stories that have been created in your account will appear; click the name of the story you just created > Save.
- When admins add a story to a script, the <story link> variable gets pasted into the script. Click Send me a test to test the script and Hustle Story. Note: Any interactions with the preview text will count towards the story’s performance.
- Note: Scripts with images or GIFs are considered MMS messages which have different deliverability standards than SMS messages. Sending links in your MMS messages should result in better deliverability than including links in SMS messages. For more information, see Hustle Best Practices.
- Once you’ve completed setting up your goal, click Launch in the top right.

Hustle Studio Best Practices
- Hustle Studio only supports MP4 and .mov video clips.
- Hustle Studio supports all video resolutions. Note: While filming video clips, please note the higher the resolution the larger the file size will be.
- Use a 9:16 vertical aspect ratio (or 16:9 depending on your mobile device) when filming video clips for Hustle Studio.
- If you’re using a smartphone to film video clips, use the native iOS/Android camera app.
- Scripts with images or GIFs are considered MMS messages which have different deliverability standards than SMS messages. Sending links in your MMS messages should result in better deliverability than including links in SMS messages.
- The max size of GIFs that can be sent out is 600 kB. Most major carriers impose a limit on images and GIFs sent via MMS. If the default Story GIF is changed, it’ll need to be replaced with a GIF/image that uses a 3:2 or 2:3 vertical aspect ratio and is under 600 kB.
- Be aware the Call to Action (CTA) button can cover captions. The CTA button is placed at the bottom of the screen. We recommend using Kapwing's Subtitle Tool, which allows users to move captions to any part of the screen.
- We recommend sending a test message before launching your goal! See How do I test a script?
