To comply with the latest phone carrier requirements, we recommend that all TCR campaigns registered before January 2025 be reviewed to ensure they are up to date and best describe your current messaging purpose, frequency and opt-in processes. You will also need to update any links to your website opt-in forms, Privacy Policy, Terms & Conditions pages, as well as .
This article describes how account and organization admins can make these updates to TCR campaigns in Hustle.
🚨 TCR campaigns that are not updated may experience deliverability issues, or campaign association failures for new groups so we strongly recommend you make these updates as soon as possible to avoid any issues.
To understand the requirements for TCR campaign compliance, we recommend you review The 10DLC Prep Checklist before you edit your campaign.
To Update a TCR Campaign:
- In the Compliance > TCR section of your Account or Organization settings, find the TCR campaign that requires updating.
🚨 Please Note: TCR campaigns registered at the account level can only be edited by account admins on the account Compliance page. Account and organization admins can edit campaigns registered at the organization-level.
- Next to the campaign in question, select “...” > Edit Campaign.
- In the modal, the following sections can be updated:
-
STEP 1: Campaign Details / Description
-
STEP 1: Campaign Details / Description
✅ Be sure there is a clear and accurate description of your campaign that aligns with your use case and describes how you'll be using this campaign.
1️⃣ If donations are collected, it must be clearly stated in the campaign description!
"This campaign is to ask donors if they would like to make a donation to <Organization> and redirect them to make that donation at <Organization donation page link>."
2️⃣ If the use case and the description do not align, the campaign will be rejected.
3️⃣ If multiple use cases are registered, describe all use cases in the description.
✅ Select your messaging frequency: (daily, monthly, varies. etc.)
✅ Confirm your Accreditation Listing (if asking for donations): If you will be collecting donations with this campaign you will be asked for an Accreditation Listing from at least one of these accreditation organizations:
1️⃣ www.give.org

STEP 2 - Contact Opt-In Methods:
A clear and concise description of how contacts opt in to receive messages. As a reminder, opt-ins can't be purchased or sold to third parties and must be explicit.
✅ Review and confirm your Opt-in Methods: We highly recommend having opt-in available on your website as that is the easiest method to get verified and approved. TCR will check all phone collection forms on your website to confirm that they contain the required disclosures:
1️⃣ Brand name
🛑 Please review the ✅ Compliant opt-in disclosures section of this article which details each of these components of a compliant website phone collection and opt-in form. A non-compliant opt-in form is one of the most common reasons for campaign rejections so this is incredibly important to do correctly.
2️⃣ Message type(s)
3️⃣ Message frequency
4️⃣ Message and data rates disclosure
5️⃣ HELP information
6️⃣ Opt-out information
7️⃣ Privacy Policy link
8️⃣ Terms & Conditions link
-
STEP 3 - Opt-Out Language & Sample Messages
✅ Review and confirm your opt-out methods: Acceptable opt-out disclosures must include at least one of the following words: end, stop, unsubscribe, or arrêt (French).Opt-out phrases, must be separated by spaces (i.e., STOP2END is not acceptable; it should be STOP 2 END).
✅ Check your sample messages: You will need to provide at least one sample message for each use case type you selected. The sample message must reflect your campaign description and include the following1️⃣ An introduction for the contact and the person texting (Hi <Contact>! This is <texter's name>)
2️⃣ Must mention the Organization/Brand the texts are being sent from
3️⃣ Include opt-out language (which is included in the Hustle form and will be appended to all of your sample messages.)
Please note that if you select Marketing as one of the use cases for your campaign, the opt-in form on your website must include a checkbox so that the end user can choose to opt into marketing messages or choose not to. The checkbox cannot be pre-checked. Please also be sure your SMS disclosure includes the marketing/promotional text messages as a type of message being sent:
IMPORTANT: Your sample messages, campaign description, and selected use case(s) must all match and make sense together. If they do not match, your campaign will be rejected.
Example of mismatched content:
Campaign Description: We will be contacting members with event updates.
Use Case: Mixed > Polling and voting
Sample Message: Hi <Contact>! This is <Agent> with <Organization> Can we count on you to donate to our End of Year fundraising goal? Reply STOP to Opt Out
A campaign submission with the above information would be rejected because the campaign says it is for event updates, the use case is for polling and voting, and the sample message is about donations.

Non-compliant campaigns may be subject to suspension and deliverability issues or campaign association failures for new groups if these updates aren't verified by TCR.
Please confirm you have filled out the entire form by checking the boxes at the bottom of the page (we recommend you review and check all boxes) then you can click Submit Campaign.
This will submit your changes to TCR immediately and your TCR campaign will be available to apply to groups or inboxes 🥳 If you run into any issues, email support@hustle.com for help!
