Goals launched in Groups will create workflows where your agents will message contacts. Goal types provide templates for specific uses with form fields and best practices to help you maximize the impact of your communication 😎

Invite to Event
The Invite to Event goal type helps with inviting contacts for online and offline events. The sample scripts pull the event date and time you entered when creating the goal into the body of the message as variables. To make sure the goal goes smoothly, there are a few things you will want to know before you start:
- Date & Time of the event.
- Event location.
- Full event details including parking, child care, cost, and anything else you might think your contacts will ask about.
If Reminders are enabled, every lead your agent marks as RSVP’d Yes will be included in the reminder messages agents send (based on how the Reminders of the goal are configured).
Recruit Staff
Use the Recruit Staff goal type when you are recruiting staff for specific opportunities. The sample scripts pull the staffing date entered when the goal was created into the message as a variable.
Your agents will be able to mark RSVP'd Yes and RSVP'd No.
If Reminders are enabled, every lead your agent marks as RSVP’d Yes will be included in the reminder messages agents send (based on how the Reminders of the goal are configured).
Engage with Contact
The Engage with Contact goal type can be seen as a catch-all, default goal type that can be used when you don’t need reminders, form fields, or variables.
Only Scripts are enabled in Engage with Contact goals.
Share a Link
To track how many contacts click on a link for a specific goal, use the Share a Link goal type.
By using Hustle’s custom domains, admins will have a record of every contact that clicked on the link that was shared. This data will be available when setting up the targeting for future goals. For more information, see How do I target contacts in my goal?
Admins can enable Click Tracking to track clicks on a designated <Link>. Admins can use the same <Link> for all contacts targeted in the Goal OR merge links saved as custom fields to individualize the links that contacts will receive. For more information about custom fields, see How do I use custom fields?
Note: Multiple links can be included in a goal, but only clicks on the designated <Link> will be tracked by Hustle.
In all cases, to improve deliverability, use direct links. Redirect links from services like bit.ly will often be flagged by carriers and messages won’t be delivered.
When enabling Reminders while Click Tracking is turned on, the targeting will include those who were marked as Yes and did not click the <Link>. Depending on your campaign, this may not be needed.
For more information, see Goal type: Share a Link.
Request a Call
Use the Request a Call goal type when you need your contacts to make a call. Hustle tracks calls made automatically similar to the Share a Link goal type.
Admins can use the same variables (<Name of Person to call> and <Phone number to call>) for all the contacts targeted in a goal or merge different names and phone numbers saved as custom fields to individualize the names and phone numbers that contacts will be requested to phone. For more information about custom fields, see How do I use custom fields?
Note: Multiple phone numbers may be included in any goal, but only calls from the designated <Phone number to call> will be tracked by Hustle.
After enabling Reminders, reminder messages will target those who were marked as Yes and did not call the <Phone number to call>. Depending on your campaign, this may not be needed.
VAN Survey
Use the VAN Survey goal type If you're working with the VAN integration to manage your contact list and want to replace Hustle’s native lead actions with the VAN survey responses of a VAN survey question.
For more information, see Goal type: VAN Survey.
