Using tags as an opt-out reason
It's helpful to be able to keep track of the various reasons that contacts are opt-ed out by agents. With opt-out tags, you’ll be able to tag the lead's reason during the opt-out for future reference for yourself and your agents! The following steps will show you where and how to mark tags as an Opt-Out Reason.
NOTE: In order to create this, you will need Org-Level Administrative access. If you wish to read about Tag visibility and syncing tags with VAN, please go to this article.
1) Go to the Tags panel in Settings
2) Add the Tag you wish to add and designate as an Opt-out reason
- Optional: if you have a VAN Integration, you can sync this reason with a VAN Survey Question or Activist Code.
In this example, we’re using "not interested" "wrong number" and "moved":
3) Now, your agents will be able to see and select this tag as an opt-out reason at the moment they opt the lead out:
