For Hustle organizations with MMS enabled, organization admins can add video clips to their organization for use in Hustle scripts.
Clip quality is highly varied and primarily based on the length, resolution, and production quality of the video. Video clips with lower resolution, fewer transitions, fewer effects, and under 15 seconds will be higher quality than longer clips with high resolution and numerous scenes. Be sure to send yourself a preview text before messaging audiences to ensure you’re satisfied with the quality of the video clip.
Currently, there is a video file length limit of 30 seconds and a file size limit of 300mb for videos added to the library to help ensure audiences receive only high quality videos. Trimming longer video files will help reduce the file size of the video and improve its quality.

Group admins cannot currently add video clips to the media library. However, they can include video clips from to the media library to Hustle scripts.
How do I include video clips in my messages?
Video clips added to the media library will be available to include in scripts when creating a goal or broadcast.
To add video files to the media library:
Organization and Account admins from the admin panel can follow these steps:
- Go to an organization with MMS enabled
- From the organization menu, select Media Library
- There will be an option to Upload Video. Select Upload Video and choose the video file you wish to include in your message.
Note: Currently there is a file size limit of 300mb and a file duration limit of 30 seconds. Video files greater than 300mb and longer than 30 seconds cannot be added to the media library as large video files do not render well for recipients when sent via text message.
- Once you select the video file, it can take a few minutes for Hustle to process the file before it can be included in messages. Feel free to navigate away from the page while Hustle processes the video.
Note: Failed uploads will appear in the library as errored with the message “Optimization failed…” - Once the video file uploads successfully, the thumbnail and file name will appear in the media library. Files successfully uploaded to the media library are now available to be added to scripts.
To add video clips to a script:
Admins from the admin panel can follow these steps:
- Add a goal or broadcast > Edit/Add a script > Media > Add Video > select a video clip from the library
- Your video clip is now added to your script! Finish drafting the text of your message to accompany your clip and preview it to make sure it's the preferred clip you wish to include with your message.
- Launch the goal or broadcast when ready.
What if my video file is too large?
There is a video file length limit of 30 seconds and a file size limit of 300mb for videos added to the library to help ensure audiences receive only high quality videos.
To make your video smaller so it fits our requirements, consider taking these actions:

- Reduce the bitrate
- Reduce the frame rate
- Reduce the number of frames
Shorter video clips generally have fewer frames, which greatly improves the quality of the video shared via text message. Consider shortening your clip for the best results!
How do I preview my video clips?
To preview a video clip from the Media Details page of the Media Library, Organization and Account admins from the admin panel can follow these steps:
- Go to the organization where the clip was added
- From the organization menu, select Media Library
- From the Media Library, select the name of the clip you want to preview; this will open the Media Details page
- From the Media Details page select Send Preview to receive a text message containing the video. Please allow a few minutes for the message to arrive.
Note: Group admins do not have access to the Media Library and can only preview a video clip from the script preview tab of a goal.
What if I don’t like the quality of my video clip?
To improve the overall the quality of the video received by members of your audience, consider taking these actions:
- Reduce the resolution of the video
- Reduce the bitrate
- Reduce the frame rate
- Reduce the number of frames
